Carolina Sandoval-Ciferni is a proud native Brooklyn resident.  She is the mother of two girls, 17 and 19 years old, the youngest being born with Down Syndrome.  Bilingual in Spanish and English, Carolina utilized her skills to serve as a translator while working at Weill Cornell as a Sr. Administrative Assistant. After 20 years in this role,.  she is currently working as a paraprofessional at the Cooke School and Institute, while simultaneously working to finish her B.A. in Disability Studies.
